In 1991, I completed my BDS degree and commenced practice in private dental facilities in Auckland, New Zealand. After a brief period, I made the decision to establish roots in Rotorua and acquired a private practice, dedicating several years to its operation. Yet, an insatiable drive to augment my professional expertise persisted. Subsequently, I pursued advanced studies at Otago University in Dunedin. In 2001, I attained a Postgraduate Clinical Diploma in General Practice, followed by the accomplishment of a Master's Degree in Clinical MDS in General Practice in 2003. The focus of my clinical master's thesis centered on Root Canal Therapy and Crown & Bridge. During my tenure at the University of Otago, pursuing my Master's degree, I had the privilege of instructing undergraduate students as a tutor. The experience of imparting knowledge was immensely fulfilling, and I relished the opportunity. In my view, maintaining a commitment to continuous education and remaining abreast of the latest advancements in oral health and dentistry is paramount. To this end, I have undertaken numerous postgraduate courses in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. Regularly, I augment my knowledge by participating in local and international courses and conferences. My professional credentials include a Fellowship in Implant Dentistry from the California Implant Institute, and I am an esteemed member of the Australian Dental Association, New Zealand Dental Association, and California Implant Institute. Above all, cherishing moments with my family holds unparalleled significance. Amidst the fast-paced nature of contemporary life, dedicating time to family remains a priority. Watching my sons participate in soccer matches for Banksia Tigers brings me immense joy. Our household is also blessed with the presence of two lively canines, Perky and Sparky, whom I greatly enjoy walking. Cooking is a personal passion of mine, although I acknowledge my skills fall short of those showcased on Master Chef. I take great pleasure in exploring diverse cuisines and savouring a variety of flavours. Residing and practicing within this community allows me the pleasure of engaging with patients beyond the confines of my workplace. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to greet and converse with my patients outside of the professional setting.
