Our practice privacy policy outlines how we use and manage your health information. The practice is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) and applicable state legislation. The practice will review and update this Privacy Policy from time to time with any updates.
Collection and Use of Information:
The practice collects health information from our patients or their nominated representatives. This data may include patient’s personal information such as patient name, contact details, health insurance, financial details, date of birth, address for the purpose of addressing accounts to you as well as for processing payments, collecting unpaid invoices. We may forward part of this information to an external collection agency and for corresponding to you about our services and to discuss any issues affecting your health.
We will collect your email if you consent for us to use it, and we will respond if you send us an email or you provide us with your email directly to correspond with you. We will always get your consent for other purposes, and will also give you an opportunity to unsubscribe or withdraw your consent from our clinic’s database so you dont receive any emails from us.
Ayar Dental may collect health information from a third party or other health care providers or publicly available source only if the patient consents to such collection. Ayar Dental would collect such information only if such collection is necessary to provide patient with desired healthcare.

This website only uses session cookies during search query of the website. Our website does not store any of your personal information after you close our window.

Your Personal Privacy is of our utmost priority.
Our website makes a record of your visit, and logs information such as server address, your domain, date, time and duration of your visit, pages you accessed and documents downloaded or seen, and the type of the browser you logged in from, and previous website you may have visited.
This information is used to schedule your appointments, and also to monitor how patients use our website and improve navigation patterns to help you get the information you are looking for, more quickly and efficiently.

Employer and Employee:
As an employer, Ayar Dental also collects personal information from its future and current employees for human resource management purposes.
All staff are required to undergo a mandatory training in maintaining patient privacy and they also sign a confidentiality agreement so they understand not to disclose any patient’s personal data without patient consent.
Use:
We will not use your personal information for any purposes other than your health unless you have consented for. The other purpose is practice may disclose your health information to any other health care providers with your consent, for the purpose of providing you a good healthcare.
Other times is when your personal or health data will be required by or as authorised by law.
Data:
The practice asks our patients health information so we can ensure the data is accurate and up to date. This is usually done by asking our patients to update their records periodically.
The practice maintains records in hard-copy, electronic or both and takes all reasonable steps to protect those records against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification or disclose or other misuse.
The practice ensures that these records are kept in locked cupboards and there are strong security measures regarding accessing these records.
The practice is required to store these records for a period of up to 7 years, if you are an adult, and if you have attended the practice as a child, until you have reached the age of 25. We may destroy these records in accordance in applicable laws when we have crossed the above periods.
Security:
If you send any personal health information, we can not guarantee its security. We do not support transmission of any personal data from or to our patients via the internet due to the inherent insecurity associated with it.
Access and Correction:
All personal and health information will be modified as per Patient’s written request. If you have any questions, please contact our office and speak with our Practice Manager, Mrs Ban Ayar, during office hours.
Sending Information overseas:
As part of maintaining your records, the practice or our IT service provider may use off-site electronic data storage providers, professional indemnity insurers, or other third party entities.
At all times the practice will ensure compliance with Australian Privacy Principles in relation to any off-shore transfer of your information.
Non Disclosure:
We respect your right to privacy, however, if you do not want to provide us with any relevant information about your health, we may not be able to provide a service to you as this may be detrimental to your health care.
Complaints:
We take your privacy breach, the practice will comply with applicable guides or guidelines issued by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for handling of Privacy breaches.
